About Me
As a clinical neuropsychologist at 好色tv Langone, I provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, teenagers, and young adults. My approach is strengths-based, focusing on identifying and leveraging children鈥檚 unique strengths to support their challenges.
I specialize in evaluating neurodevelopmental conditions such as attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disorders, language disorders, and behavioral challenges. Additionally, I identify co-occurring psychiatric disorders, such as anxiety and depression. I also work with children who have complex medical histories. I have specific expertise conducting evaluations for children with who are d/Deaf and hard of hearing.
With years of experience in the field, I am committed to advancing neuropsychology through my work and research. Throughout my career, I have presented at state, national, and international conferences and published research on various neuropsychological topics including neuropsychological evaluations for children who are d/Deaf and hard of hearing, cultural neuropsychology, and twice exceptionality.
I completed my neuropsychology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and have worked in schools, community mental health centers, hospitals, and clinics. I am actively involved in professional organizations such as the New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN), the National Association of Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. I currently serve on the Pediatric Interest Professional Affairs Committee (PIPAC) within NYSAN.
My neuropsychology career was inspired by the profound impact that neuropsychological care can have on a child鈥檚 life trajectory. My approach is similar to a 鈥減uzzle solver,鈥 piecing together a child鈥檚 unique strengths and challenges to create a clear picture of how they think, learn, and interact with the world. I am dedicated to helping families gain clarity and fitting these pieces into a cohesive plan, ensuring each child can thrive in all aspects of their lives.
