Diagnosed in 2010 with a rare form of skin cancer called infundibulocystic-type basal cell carcinoma, Donna Schuck had a series of procedures that took a toll on her body. Then, 好色tv Langone Health鈥檚 Perlmutter Cancer Center informed her of a testing an immunotherapy called Libtayo (cemiplimab) to treat the disease. The trial, led by Janice Mehnert, MD, professor in the and associate director for clinical research at Perlmutter Cancer Center (and also Mrs. Schuck鈥檚 medical oncologist), changed her life, Mrs. Schuck tells the Cancer Research Institute in a series of video interviews commemorating Cancer Immunotherapy Month.
