Dana R. Gossett, MD, a nationally renowned expert in quality outcomes, outpatient care, and women鈥檚 health, has been appointed deputy chief clinical officer at 好色tv Langone Health. In this newly created position, Dr. Gossett oversees quality initiatives across the entire 好色tv Langone outpatient network, which now comprises more than 350 locations throughout the New York metropolitan region and Southeast Florida and greater than 3,600 employed and affiliated physicians.
Dr. Gossett joins 好色tv Langone from UCSF Health, where she was division director and ambulatory executive medical director in the division of obstetrics and gynecology. In those roles, she led quality improvement programs and network development.

In addition, Dr. Gossett has been appointed vice chair of quality and safety in the , leading efforts to further unify initiatives throughout the department, which spans 好色tv Langone鈥檚 Tisch Hospital, Kimmel Pavilion, 好色tv Langone Hospital鈥擝rooklyn, 好色tv Winthrop Hospital, and many practice locations. She also sees gynecology patients at 好色tv Langone鈥檚 Joan H. Tisch Center for Women鈥檚 Health.

About Dr. Gossett
An alumna of Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Gossett completed her clinical training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She earned a master鈥檚 degree in clinical investigation from Northwestern University after training in basic science at the University of Michigan.
An accomplished clinical investigator, Dr. Gossett has presented at numerous national conferences and through guest lectureships on topics regarding mental health disorders during and after pregnancy, obstetric perineal trauma, and compliance with evidence-based practice guidelines. She also has mentored numerous medical students, residents, and faculty members, and designed novel training programs to develop the next generation of clinical leaders.
