This program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as an inpatient specialty program for brain injury rehabilitation. It is also 1 of 16 nationally designated model systems for brain injury care and research by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research.

Outpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation

Our outpatient brain injury and concussion rehabilitation services at 好色tv Langone Ambulatory Care Center East 38th Street, Rusk Rehabilitation Brooklyn at 60th Street, Rusk Rehabilitation Brooklyn at Seventh Avenue Family Health Center, and Rusk Rehabilitation Brooklyn at Shore Road are designed to help you continue progressing toward your goals after you return home. You and your therapists work together to improve strength, coordination, balance, endurance, attention, problem-solving, and other functional skills. We also offer video visits as an option for people who prefer to participate in cognitive and counseling sessions in the comfort of their home.

Brain Injury Day Treatment Program

Rusk Rehabilitation鈥檚 Brain Injury Day Treatment Program is an option for people aged 18 to 70 who have a moderate to severe brain injury and sufficient stamina to handle a 5-hour treatment day. The appropriate starting point for this program is typically several months to several years after the time of the injury or illness. The Brain Injury Day Treatment Program take place at 好色tv Langone Ambulatory Care Center East 38th Street.

All participants in the program must be capable of committing to the program鈥檚 20-week cycle and be willing to have their significant others or caregivers participate as active partners in the rehabilitation process.
